Mojo Potatoes

Tonight I was craving homemade Mojo Potatoes and I'm really trying not to run to the store to buy things and make stuff homemade so I grabbed two potatoes and I got to work.
These  really aren't hard to make but they take a little preparation and it is a little messy I have to admit but they're so yummy and I remember the first time I had Mojo Potatoes I must've been 12 years old.  It was at Shakey's restaurant which is a pizza parlor my dad uses to take me there for lunch and I would order these Mojo Potatoes which is unusual to have potatoes at a pizza parlor but I never wanted pizza. Tonight I made these potatoes to go with a tri-tip that I had leftover and I never even touched the tri tip, kinda like when I was little girl at the pizza parlor.

Mojo Potatoes
2 potatoes (but feel free to grab more, this was just for me)
1/3 cup canola oil
1 egg
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp season all
1/4 tsp black pepper

peel your potatoes
 slice into wedges
heat oil to medium high heat. I am using a cast iron pan. I don't use a thermometer but you could easily use a sauce pan with one, I just choose to use a shallow pan.
I am not making much so I am using small bowls but if I was making a ton I would use large shallow pans like cake pans. Beat your egg and get your four mixed with your seasoning
Put the potato in the flour first
then egg
then back into flour
Put all on a plate
then into the pan
the kids are wondering if there will be anything for them. They are getting so big!!
Turn them as they get golden brown. Dont let them cook too fast
Place onto a paper towel to drain and sprinkle salt over
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce
