Marinaded Steak Tacos

In our neck of the woods, Carne Asada is the taco of choice. Everyone has their preferred method. some get it from the Mexican Markets or Carniceria and others make it home made. I like both. I like it better when somebody else is making it. But tonight it's all on me! My version is easy to make but needs to be left to marinade at least all day if not all night. BBQ it or even grill inside and slice thinly.

Marinaded Steak Tacos
Marinade
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup rice vinegar or white vinegar (I like rice better)
2 lemons juiced
1/3 cup orange juice
4 cloves garlic minced
1 TB pepper
1 1/2 TB salt
1 TB ground cumin
1 TB chili powder
1 TB oregano
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tsp smoked paprika

Combine all in a deep dish or ziplock bag. I prefer to use a ziplock bag but the grocery fairy neglected to go shopping.

Add 2 lbs sirloin to the marinade. Let marinade overnight.

BBQ or grill. I prefer to cook only to medium. I dont mind if the beef is moo'ing at me. The Fireman will complain but eat what I cook.

Serve with some Homemade Salsa

This looks SO good!! I will be trying this! I do have a question: with regards to the rice vinegar, I have never had that before. Compared to the white vinegar, what is the difference in taste?

My fireman is the same way about meat. I usually give in and cook his longer.
