Creamy cucumber salad

I used to make this any and every time I didnt have a side dish. It is uber fast! And the sauce gives a ranch taste with most kids will like.

Creamy cucumber salad

2 English cucumbers split lengthwise and then cut into slices
1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
I red onion halved and sliced
1/2 cup sour cream
1 TB dill (dried is fine)
1 TB rice vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste

Mix sour cream, dill, vinegar, sugar. Pour over cucumbers, tomatoes and onion. Salt to taste.

Chill at least an hour before serving. I like to chill all day before serving.

My grandma fixed a cucumber dish that sounds a lot like yours. I love dill with cukes! Thanks.

Yummy! I make a similar salad but just cucumber slices, sour cream and fresh dill. I like the onion and tomatoes tossed in - I'll have to try is since I have plenty of cucumbers on hand!

Happy weekend!
